New project

Inspired by the sterling work 7chan's /pro/ crew are doing with Anonymon, and also lacking any kind of plan for the previous project, I'm putting that on hold for now and I've started doing another EB hack; working title is AnonBound (yes, I know it's a shit title, but like I said, it's only a working title). I've only recently started on it, so not much has been done, but for now, have some screens:-
(And yes, I know i spelt it wrong - I'll change it to "raep" at some point later on)

Although possibly not for long, given what somebody thought of my little exposé that I posted on his blog.

Anyway, sorry for not posting for so long. This doesn't mean that I haven't been working on the project: indeed I have, and with any luck I should be able to post more things soonish.

On a semi-unrelated note, I've recently learned of a marvelous general-purpose hacking tool for Super Mario 64. It's called Toad's Tool 64 and is downloadable from here. Here's a screenshot of what I did to the game (just pissing about with it; I'm not doing a proper Mario hack... yet).

More EarthBound stuff to come soon, when I'm not being killed by angered politicians with biros.

Yes, I am still working on the hack, even on Christmas Eve, so here's a small present for you: my new animation for PSI Rockin' Omega. Sorry about the lack of sound and the frame rate, but I couldn't be bothered to cough up for the full version of a screen-capture program.

Right. Not much to report, since I've had an absolute shitload of work to do of late. Basically, all I've been doing is minor script work. Will post more when I get back to being able to do anything :3

Yet another short post just to let you know I'm buggering off on holiday for a week on Monday, so work's postponed until I get back. I've been doing mainly script work of late, so I won't include any screens for now, but progress has been made :)

Not much to say, really... Thanks to school, I haven't had much chance to work on the game for a while. Done some script edits and sprites, but, apart from that, not much to report. With any luck, I should be able to work on it more soon.

A small update

Just a short note to let you know that all the main character parts are gone now (i.e. Ness/Paula/Jeff/Poo). Currently, I've finished the Ness and Jeff sprites and am working on Poo at the moment. I've also done some work on the first few bits of text, and replaced King with a 1337-speaking robot. I've also replaced Frank with Adolf Hitler - don't even try to figure out the twisted logic that went into that one :P

One of them is the new Poo sprite in development on PK Hack 0.5c2's sprite editor, if you're wondering why it's a screenshot of a computer screen rather than ZSNES. In case you're puzzled by the besuited man, suffice it to say that I'm replacing Prince Poo with the future Prime Minister, an associate of mine by the name of Holliday :D

Greetz to all my homies, and suchlike. Just thought I'd start this sad little blog so that anyone who wants (for whatever reason) to keep track of my activities on the 1n74rw38z has somewhere to refer to :D

At the time of writing, the main purpose of this blog is to keep you posted on my as-yet unnamed hack of EarthBound, on which work began yesterday with some preliminary ASM work on the setup screens. I'm still in need of people to base sprites off of (as I have no imagination :P), so if you want to be in the game, there're still some parts left :)

Here's a screenshot of some of what I've done, but it's not much... This project is fairly major, so those of you who do care (or are in it) are likely to have to wait a long time, especially as I have A-Levels to do as well :S

I've also changed the character-naming instructions and the first couple of flyovers, but they're even less exciting ;)

Any input'd be appreciated, especially title ideas - again, I have no imagination XD

Further updates whenever I do anything or can be bothered :P
